Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Car Repossession
My daughter had a car that was repossessed over two years ago. The problem is the creditor won't stop calling her at work. They are wanting her to pay the difference from what they sold the car for to what she actually owed on the car. My daughter is a single Mom of 3. She has no car no home. Presently is living with me. How can we stop this calls? And is she still responsible for that difference?

Re: Car Repossession
She's still responsible for the deficiency. She can get the calls stopped by writing to the creditor, certified mail return receipt requested, demanding that all further communications be in writing and that they are prohibited from calling her at work.
