Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Charge off acct

We had a car loan charged off .

Now they are trying to collect.

There was a co-signer on the acct. They said they will collect from them since the had better credit , then we did.....

They also said they would collect off there equatiy off there house... Is this legal in texas.....

Yes they can go after the co-signer, but no they cannot go after their home.
