Civil judgement
in 2005 we let go of a vechile with drive financial. on our credit report the it show charge off 2005. in 2008 we got a civil judgement for this car in the amount of 6073 for palisades collection. The car itself was not worth that amount. how can i go about a settlement and or taken off my credit? Who do I need to contact?

Were you served with the petition? If so, note that by not responding, the plaintiff entered it's evidence, uncontested, as to interest, attorney fees etc. You can contact the attorney that represented the plaintiff and enter into settlement negotiations.
