Civil Warrent

What is a civil warrent? A collection company is threatening me with one.

They may be threatening a lawsuit. A civil warrant is a warrant issued to enforce a contempt citation for disobedience to a court's order. That could only issue well after a lawsuit has been filed and orders issued by the trial court.
