Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Civl suit

If a credit card company files a civil suit against me for an account that was supposed to have been charged off. What are my options? What can happen to me if I do nothing?

Do nothing and they will get a judgment which will cost an arm and a leg to remove...File a sworn answer that the statute of limitations has run or that you do not owe the debt as claimed..IF either is true...and if worth it..call a lawyer
