went into ck cashing store to cash my 401k ck. lady took ck and said i had an outstanding payday loan with an affiliate co. said she would have to keep ck. ck was for 1800.00 idemanded the ck back she just put it in her drawer and left me standing in window

Call the police, and notify your plan manager to stop payment on the check.

good advice...and perhaps contact attorney to sue for conversion/fraud..etc..but most will require retainer..
