Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

How do I collect?

I do volunteer work and sell shirts with the committee logo on them. I buy the shirts and then take them to be embroidered. The first week in April I dropped off a whole order of shirts and they have not been completed. I call w/no answer and leave messages w/no call back. I need to know what I can do to get my things back. I leave messages saying I will just come and pick the items up unfinished, but still no return call. I have had people go by the company and the door will be locked, but their cars are outside. I live a ways away from the company so it is hard for me to just drive over there hoping someone will be there. I've had the chairman on the committee call and he has gotten an answer right after I have called. So, it is quite obvious that he recognizes my numbers. He told the chairman that he didn't think he had any of my shirts, but he would check and call me back and that was a month ago and I still haven't heard anything. Is there anything I can do? I have people calling daily looking for the shirts they purchased. Please help.

Re: How do I collect?

Your organization is going to have to sue this company. They can start with a CMRRR letter demanding the immediate return of their property or the money value of the shirts.

(Since they answered the phone when the number was different, have you tried calling from a friend's house?)
