Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Collection Agency

Can a collection agency who purchased my debt from Chase bank garnish my money from my bank account? I am being sued for balance of credit card, court fees, and everything else by these people and I don't have the money to pay them or I would have. They are suing me. I got the paper work today. Will they sue me, win and take money from my bank account that pays my house note? I am scared out of my wits. I am busy taking care of my autistic son and his twin sister and I feel so damn alone. I am no dead beat. I just don't have the money. Thanks for listening.

Re: Collection Agency

it may be less expensive to take the suit to a lawyer..if they get a judgment ..they may garnish bank accounts but you can change bank accounts..and I presume you do not pay house note by automatic draw..
