Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
If a collection agency tryed to collect on a debt back in April 2007 and did not validate the account as mine back then with a credit card application agreement with my signiture. Can the same collection agency come back in 2010 and try to collect on the same debt? Also how does the Statute of Limitations play a role in this if any?

The statute of limitations in Texas for debt is four years. It dates from the time when the creditor knew or should have known that it wasn't going to get paid (generally, from the date of the last payment). I assume that you haven't been making promises of payment over the years.
