Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

A company trying to bill me for 900.70 after 13 months

We had a sewer back up in our home April 2001, we called State Farm for castostrope cleanup and ARS Restoration came out 2 different days for the same problem, this problem was caused by the city where we live.

The insurance company apparently was billed directly and about 13 months later we were billed for what they are saying is the deductible $900.79. Our deductible was $794.00 and the actual itemized bill was totalled at $900.79 .

Now we have contacted by their lawyer demanding payment and then now we have been a Small Claim Sitation to be answered within 10 days to know what we should do.

How do we approach this??? Do we dispute it or pay it or what?

You must answer the claim in writing.

You will have to refund your deductible.

If the sewer backup was caused by the city, if you haven't filed a claim with them already, do it immediately in writing.
