Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
what can i do if a company who claim tp be a law firm for a payday loan company say that they are charging me with fraud and is serving me with papers at my home or work place. I have no ideal who these people are or why they are calling me. They also says there are filing crimial charges on and a warrant for may arrest will be issued.

It is likely a scam. There is a rash of them. Require them to verify the debt. I suspect they have nothing. You are not getting arrested.

Agreed........but if u get a name/address/fax#...you should send them a CEASE AND DESIST
LETTER.... basically it says do not call me nor anyone...it violates the Fair Debt Collection Act
of Texas and US...and to put all demands in writing. I normally do that for clients for nominal fee...but u can do it yourself good luck..
