Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Consumer credit rights

I have a serious problem. I have been fraudently victimized twice. Money was stolen out of my account periodically for 4yrs. without my authorization. I want to know what rights do I have to recoup that money that was stolen from my checking account.

Secondly, Chase has been continuosly billing me for a payment protector plan which I did not authorize as well. I requested a verification of authorization, but they couldn't produce one. I want to know what are my rights and what is the best way to go about getting my money back

Re: Consumer credit rights

File criminal charges against the person or persons that have been stealing the money.

Write to Chase demanding to know why you were on the payment protector plan when you never signed up for it, demand that they take you off the plan immediately, and demand reimbursement for the money improperly taken for that plan. If they fail to reimburse you, you can file suit in Small Claims for that sum, provided it's under $5,000.00.
