Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

No Contract Boat Loan

I tried to purchase a 19ft. boat/vessel 1 year ago. Seller is from OKlahoma, but I purchased through broker in Florida. The lender is in Utah. I paid broker 1500.00 and sent forms to him for bill of sale, etc. The broker said we were finished and then sent nothing to the bank, left the brokerage company with the money I paid down and the lender has no contract or bill of sale. They can't find the broker and I can't register the boat because it is in the sellers name still. The price was paid for the boat, but what are my rights a year later after making payments to the lender?

Re: No Contract Boat Loan

With the documented proof that you do have, together with an affidavit from the broker and lender; make application for a bonded title.
