Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

County court judgement

I was unable to stick to my rental lease contract in Austin, TX because I had break my graduate studies and had to find a job.

I left Austin in October 2005 and have been in other states till now. Now I learn that there is a Travis county court judgement against me. The credit report says I have a liability of $600.

How do I pay this ( I can now because I have a good job)? Directly at the court or to the landlord? The judgement is about a year old. Am I in trouble? My credit history is messed up because of this. I don't know how to proceed.

Re: County court judgement

Get a copy of the judgment. That'll tell you whom to pay.
