Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

If a court case was placed on a dismissal docket last week and then has a docket call set for May. How does the docket call relate to the dismissal hearting?

plaintiff's attorney contacted the court and gave a reason why case should not be dismissed but asked it be set on the docket for trial...so get an attorney if you are defendant..or be sure to answer and defend yourself..
