Credit Card on Bank--Can They Keep My Paycheck?

I have a credit card on a bank I am unable to pay--I have a checking account with them, but am going to close it. My employer also banks at this bank. Question: Can the bank, when I'm cashing my check or it's presented to this bank through another banking institution, keep the money to pay toward the credit card debt? I am in Texas.

no..the bank needs to get a judgment and then could try to collect..but never take from your employer's account..good thing you closed your account since there was probably a clause permitting taking your account..
