credit card after death

Our mother passed away in December. What are our responsibilities, if any, regarding her credit card debt?

Re: credit card after death

If you have not agreed to be responsible for her debt, then you as her heirs or the executor of her estate are not liable. To the extent that her estate has assets, the credit card companies may make a claim against her estate. Otherwise, they are out of luck.
