Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Credit card debt and death
My parents are 75 and 80. Stepfather has cancer. They are living off of credit cards and have a debt of ~ $80,000.00.
What happens to debt if they both die?

Re: Credit card debt and death
The debt would be a responsibility of their estate to the extent that any assets are available to pay. The heirs are not responsible for a penny. That's just the way I want to go out.
