Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Credit Card Debt

I am drownding in credit card debt and don't know how to proceed. I am on SS Disability and have a Bankruptcy 5 years ago. My limited income and my health issues have contributed to this problem. What can the Credit Card Co's do to me if I can't pay the unsecured debt? Beyond ruining my credit, can I lose my home? HELP please!

Re: Credit Card Debt

All they can do is get a judgment...and try to collect..but they cannot take exempt property..ie home, SS income, etc..they should not have given you a card
