Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Credit Card Debt
My ex-husband agreed in writing to pay credit card debts that were in my name when we divorced. The divorce decree also states that he is to pay these debts. He made payments to the credit card companies for 6 1/2 years then stopped. I have had to negotiate ''settlements'' with the cc companies. What are my chances of winning a law suit against my ex for the amounts I've had to pay the credit card companies?

Re: Credit Card Debt
Your chances of winning are pretty good. Your chances of collection are poor.
