Credit Card Debt

What happens if I fail to reply to a summons for a old credit card debt. I was served a summons and can't afford a lawyer. This is an old debt I was paying on untill my husband head a heart attack and lost his job over 4 years ago and now I truly can't afford to pay what I was paying.

call a lawyer, call us...you need to file an answer as the debt may be far beyond what is owed..and with a lawyer, you may avoid a judgment...but at least write an answer to the Court denying the claim is accurate..you may owe something but probably not all the add ons..
