Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Credit card debt from 1990
I have heard nothing from this company and now get a letter from a collection agency wanting to settle for small sum. Is the statute of limitation out in Texas?

The s/l is four years. That just means that can't sue you on the debt.
However, it may be worth a small sum to keep the debt paper from being sold to another ad infinitum, because the debt itself will never go away unless you buy it.
