credit card debt liability

What liability does a wife have for her husband's credit card debts if the credit cards are in his name? Can her wages be garnished?

The debt is usually a community debt, even though the card may be in one spouse's name.

Current wages cannot be garnisheed in Texas except for child support, a tax liability, or an unpaid government-backed student loan.
