Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

credit card debt

Recently I went before a JP for a pre trial hearing. This was for a credit card that I defaulted on 3 years ago. I know there is really nothing that they can do, but the following happened. The other sides attorney did not show up. Since I cannot afford an attorney the JP told me to file a motion to dismiss. Thought I could find on the web, but cannot. Can anyone help with the form. The other thing is that now I have received a letter from the other lawyer filing a motion for substitution of counsel. This frankly is a bunch of bull____. What do I need to do?

Re: credit card debt

You are not likely to find such a motion online. You may have more luck at the law library, or hiring a lawyer to 'unbundle' his/her services on the case.
