Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Credit card fraud

During my marriage I had opened a couple credit cards in my spouses name ( with verbal permission). he is denying that he provided me any permission at all. He says he will be pressing charges on me for identity theft. What can happen if he does this? Is this a criminal case, even though we were married at the time, I don't have any proof that I had permission. Can I actually be arrested or is this a different types of case?

Re: Credit card fraud

Assuming that you and your spouse are divorced, there may be a possibility that you could be held liable for the charges made on the credit cards. You should really contact a law firm to assist you with protecting your rights. If my law firm can assist you with this legal matter or any other legal issue, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]).
