Re: Credit Card Judgement

There is no garnishment of wages in Texas - that is in the Texas constitution. They can garnish a bank account after they obtain a judgment, they can seize non-exempt property with a writ of execution. However, there are so many exemptions for consumers in Texas that a writ of execution is not a very good resource for the credit card company. They can take your deposition or send you questions asking about all your financial information which you will be required to tell them.
