How do I answer to a suit filed against me for nonpayment of credit card?

You need to file a response with the court and send a copy to the attorney who filed the suit. Also be sure and answer the discovery that is most likely attached to the petition. Better yet, hire an attorney. These cases can be successfully defended by an attorney who has experience doing so.
