Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Credit Card Suit

An organization bought my credit card debt and filed a civil suit. I filed a ''Defendants Original Response''. I have been checking the status online and today it said ''Disposed''. What does this mean?

Re: Credit Card Suit

As long as it doesn't say "Judgment for Plaintiff", you're OK. Many times when these debt purchasing companies meet ANY resistance, they fold and go for the easy ones - those that don't answer or don't answer correctly. Doesn't sound like you had a correct answer, but most often these companies prefer to take judgments from people who don't answer at all.
