how far can a credit card company go to collect money that they claim that you owe if you owe it or not and can they put a lein on a travel-trailer for that amount?

Creditors cannot put liens on anything without a court judgment UNLESS your credit card agreement gives them a lien on what you buy with that credit...and I doubt if a lien is on your credit card agreement..but most credit cards rquire arbitration which is similar to court judgment

They can file a lawsuit and seek a judgment for the debt, interest, attorneys fees and court costs. After obtaining a judgment it can be filed as a lien on all of your property not exempt from judgment. Whether they would go after the travel trailer or not is a matter of economics. What is it worth? How much would it cost to try to sell it? Often the cost exceeds the value of the trailer.
