Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Credit Report
If, after being sued the amount in question is not brought forward to collect in any-way, yet appears on our credit report as a lien to the person who sued us. What can I do legally to prevent this from any futher damages?

Re: Credit Report
Basically, nothing. The judgment obtained is good for 10 years and the lien is the advantage obtained by the creditor for failure to pay. YOur best solution is to see if you can negotiate a settlement with the creditor to remove this from your record.
