Up until 2008 my credit report showed "payed as agreed " on everything. Besides credit cards I have never defaulted on othe bills, HOUSE, CARS, BUSINESS LOANS nothing! After filing bankruptcy, you should not have any more personal debt. If you have not filed bankruptcy, you might consider talking with a local bankruptcy attorney. Even if your business is the type that a bankruptcy court will decide has value, you could probably look into a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. You will need to talk to an attorney to discuss your personal situation.

Debt settlement companies are generally scams, so avoid them.

Best of Luck
