Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Is a creditor allowed to contact you at your workplace in Tx? How about it you send a written notice for them to stop? I am referring to the orginal creditor and not a debt collection agnecy.

There are two things you should read:
http://www.oag.state.tx.us/consumer/debt_collection.shtml
you want to read the fair debt collection act and then the texas statute at the bottom
As the Texas Attorney General said on this website: If you are being subjected to harassing, abusive, or fraudulent debt collection tactics by professional debt collectors, and you want to stop further contact with you, notify the collector in writing. Keep a copy of your letter and send the original to the debt collector by certified mail.
