Creditors calling at home and work

Is there anything a person can do about creditors calling and harrassing them at home and at work...talking to co-workers and being very rude to them?

Write to the collector stating that all further communication is to be in writing only. Send it by certified mail, return receipt requested. Then if they call after your notice, contact a lawyer about a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
