Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
A customer in Texas placed an order with us in Kentucky. He represented himself as an employee of the Police Dept. He placed order and we billed and shipped to the police department as instructed. The Police Dept has notified us the order is not theirs and to remove them from the billing. The Police Dept sent affadavit they did not order. The Police Department has "reprimanded" the employee for using them.
Can we still hold the police department responsible for their employee's fraudulent order?
