Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Dear Sirs,

I am receiving harrassing calls concerning a lawsuit I have against me from several payday loan companies according to the . The person on the phone. I never received any money from these payday loan firms. I did apply but the amount was not what I needed so I never agreed to their loan. They have all my information including social, bank name, my work place, and other things they mentioned on our phone conversation. They were trying to have me agree to the terms they were offering but I refused because I wanted to see something in writing. Did I do the right thing? What else do I need to do?
