debt buyers

I was recently contacted by a collection agency who had bought a charged-off credit card account. the account was charged off over 4 years ago. do i legally owe the money to the colletion agency

you legally owe the debt because you didn't pay it. The statute of limitations has expired for them to file a lawsuit in TX.
