Re: debt collection

If you are living on the land, it's your homestead and they can't touch it. Do not send them any IRS information. It is illegal for them to threaten criminal charges to gain an advantage in a civil matter. Get their name and address, then try to contact an attorney in your area that's familiar with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and is willing to take it for the statutory penalty of $1000.00 for violation of the FDCPA.
