Debt Collection

I have a hospital bill that was sent to an agency 3 months ago. If I send in a dispute now, do they have to respond even though it is passed the initial 30 day dispute period? Also, do they have to give me 30 days to dispute before putting it on my credit?

Creditors, ie, hospitals et al..do not "have to" give time..can put on credit report..etc...try to negotiate a payment you can live with..but if you can't, your credit has already been affected probably
