debt an collections

hi if a credit card debt collector sends in a 1099 to the IRS, can the debt collector still take me to court? an can the irs put a hold on my tax refund this year because they keep pushing back the data that i was to get my refund?

find out the facts..many collectors threaten but never act..call IRS and see what is the problem..
