Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

debt

I entered a settlement with a credit card debt collection. settlement was completed and recieved a paid in full letter. That was three years ago. I am now being sued for the whole amount of the original balance and I no longer have the letter. I have answered to the court with check copies of the settlement. Do I have any recourse for this?
