debt.
yes i am being harrassed by a debt collector on a bill from ten years ago. when they called me he said it was from a credit card account from 1994. what is the statue of limitations on such things. is there anything i can do to solve this as this was my ex-wifes account still in my name.

The statute of limitations in Texas is four years on a debt. That takes away their remedy, but doesn't cancel the debt. Simply write to them, certified mail, saying you dispute the debt, it's barred by limitations, and all further communications are to be in writing.
That'll put a stop to it, at least until they sell the paper to someone else.
