Debt and marriage
I have credit card debt and am now ingaged to be married. I have not filled bankruptcy as of yet, but I have not paid my credit cards for some time. Wll he be responsible for my debts if we marry? Can the IRS take his money if we file together? Or can any of the creditors make him pay my dent?

Re: Debt and marriage
Your debt will attach to your community property interest upon marriage. The IRS only takes money if taxes are owed.
