I want to know if I cant pay payments on a credit card can my payroll wages be held back by the credit card company?

Also if I am forced to sell my half the house to my X

do I have to pay taxes even though what was paid is less than I payed for the property in the first place?

In Texas, a person's wages are protected from his or her creditors. Unless the debt is for past child support or for certain taxes, your creditors may not take any of your wages. With regard to your question regarding property taxes, generally speaking, the owner of said property is responsible for any taxes owing upon it.
