If I just quit paying my credit card bills, what will happen to me?

1. They'll sue you for the unpaid debt.

2. Your credit will be trashed.

3. The judgment will be good for 10 years, then extended another 10 for so long as the judgment creditor wishes to pursue you, or you file bankruptcy.

4. Any non-exempt assets you may have (bank accounts, etc.) may be subject to garnishment or seizure and sale.
