Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
A default judgement was obtained in the state of Oklahoma by Portfolio Recovery, attorneys Love, Beal and Nixon. I just receive a Garnishment Affidavit to respond within 5 days, however I moved back to my home state of Texas. Can they still garnish wages in Texas? Also, my company requires Direct Deposit, can this account in Texas be frozen?

They can't garnish your wages in Texas for an ordinary judgment. It's against the law.
If they find your bank account, they CAN garnish it. If I were you, I'd switch banks every six months.
