Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

possible default

I have just been served that I am being sued in the State of Tx, in county court, for a 12,000 amount.

If I default, can they garnish my wages or take my vehicle?

they cannot garnish wages, but can your bank account after you deposit..nor take your only car..but you will be in for considerable harassment...so file and answer and make them prove it...or call a local lawyer, you may have a decent defense..
