Deposition for a judgement

Does one have to testify at deposition for a judgement over an unpaid bill? And if they do show up; can they plead the fifth amendment?

no fifith amendment rights in civil lawsuit...and yes show up or be found in contempt..quasi criiminal and will cost a lot more..visit a lawyer
