disabilty lawyer
for 3 years i never recieved a bill from my lawyer and now he wants me to pay him for almost 3000.00. the truth is i don't have it.when soc security didn't send it to him and he didn't bill me i figured he didn't do his job. i paid my wills with it because we are a family of 2 trying to live on 1000.00 a month. can he sue me. i don't own anything except a 91 station wagon that doesn't run very good and by the time i pay my bill i have nothing left. can he take my disability. c an he put me in jail. please answer soon as i am extremely worried. thank you for your help

He can sue you but there's nothing to collect against. He can't take your car, or your disability, and he sure can't put you in jail.
Why don't you ask him why Social Security didn't pay him, and why did he wait three years to send you a bill? I'd put it in a nice letter, and also point out that it's impossible to pay him.
