Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Enforcement of Judgment
I received a Plaintiff's Interrogatories in Aid of Judgment from the attorney representing the creditor in regards to a judgment against me in the amount of $8,000. The questions are asking for employment information such as employer, wages and salary, property ownership (which they have already filed an abstract of judgment on my home), personal property that is exempted, banking information such as bank name, checking account numbers, and present bank account balances. Could the reason why this attorney is asking for this information is to seize the bank account? I have about $50.00 left after all bills are paid. Can I show to the court exactly what bills I have to pay and what balance is left?
