Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

we engineered drawings for a person who has not paid their invoice. we have not released the plans; however we have completed the work. I have now found out that a proposal was not signed. But there were meetings and phone calls. Do I have any chance of collecting the money?

Do you have a written contract with them? If you don't, they'll lie in court about the terms of the contract (when you sue them for the debt).

A lawsuit in Justice Court involves a filing fee of about $100.00.
